Can I use for in-store purchases?

Yes. Seafarer can use your card to shop at stores, restaurants and more. Please note that there are times where Seafarer may be asked if Seafarer want to pay in USD or the local currency, always choose the local currency to avoid foreign exchange fees.

Note: ShipMoney applies fraud-prevention controls to both in-store (POS) and online transactions.
 Cards may be temporarily restricted if multiple transactions occur in a short period or if activity is flagged as unusual. As this is driven by dynamic security rules, we do not recommend publishing a fixed number of transactions (e.g. “10 consecutive purchases”), as blocks may occur regardless of a specific count.  If a card is restricted, the crew member can resolve it via the app or by contacting Customer Support.
